Our Story
West Coast Bling is more than a rhinestone company; it's the next chapter of a dream that began decades ago.
Tanea and Dustin have been building businesses together since they were teenagers. High school sweethearts born and raised in Northern California, they grew up surrounded by beaches, mountains, sunshine, and the adventurous spirit of the West Coast.
As a teenager, Tanea discovered the world of rhinestones. What started as a creative passion quickly became her very first business, laying the foundation for a lifelong journey as an entrepreneur. Together, she and Dustin learned the ins and outs of building businesses from the ground up, fueled by big dreams, hard work, and a belief that you could create a life doing what you love.
Being a mom of 2 naturally creative girls, Tanea's passion evolved into teaching. Known to millions online as Auntie Tay, she has spent years inspiring makers through tutorials, live classes, and creative education, helping countless people discover new hobbies, start handmade businesses, and build confidence through creativity.
At home, that same love for making was passed down to the next generation. Their daughters grew up surrounded by craft supplies, colorful creations, and, of course, plenty of rhinestones. Before long, they had fallen in love with the sparkle, too, turning family craft time into some of life's sweetest memories.
After years of teaching others how to create, Tanea realized it was time to bring her two worlds together. She wanted to offer the same premium rhinestones she trusted herself—beautiful, high-quality glass stones paired with thoughtfully hand-curated mixes inspired by California's coastlines, mountains, wildflowers, sunsets, and seasons.
And so, West Coast Bling was born.
Today, West Coast Bling is a family-owned company dedicated to helping makers create projects they're proud of. Every collection is curated with creativity, quality, and inspiration in mind, whether you're embellishing your very first project or growing your own handmade business.
